Catalyst Recycling

no further waste

At the recycling facilities, the spent catalysts usually undergo full recovery. In some facilities nothing is wasted, while others recycle a major proportion of the waste and treat any remaining residues in an environmentally-sound manner.

Some recycling plants send processed residues to the construction industry for the building of roads and highways.

Waste water from the processes is also tested and treated before being released.

Heat created from the chemical reactions is harness and converted into energy. Most facilities also produce their own electricity from waste oils, water and excess heat.
