Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) Regulations entered into force
in 1968 and concern the international transport of dangerous goods along
roads and highways laying down particular conditions as to the packaging
and labeling requirements of the dangerous goods and the requirements
of the vehicle that they are to be transported in. |

The International
Maritime Dangerous Goods Regulations supervize the transport of dangerous
goods across seas, oceans and other bodies of water, stipulating packing,
stowage and container traffic requirements, particularly with a view to
separating substances that could pose a severe threat if they came into
contact with each other. |

International
Air Traffic Authority Regulations specify what is classified as posing
a dangerous risk to health, safety, property or the environment and the
requirements as to their packing, loading, labeling, the required accompanying
documents and what restrictions apply to dangerous goods that are being
transported through the air. |
